JNX EPK

JNX (pronounced jinx) is a young hard rock band from Mariposa, CA -- the gateway to Yosemite National Park. The band is comprised of trio Jonah Dacanay (lead guitar/vocals), Xavier Dacanay (drums), and Roger Dacanay (bass). Influenced by the greats such as Van Halen, Pantera, and Green Day, brothers Jonah and Xavier formed the band with the goal of keeping rock and heavy music fresh and alive. With their high-energy riffs, shredding guitar solos, and in-your-face rhythms, JNX strives to inspire a new generation of rock fans!

JNX has performed throughout California, including venues and events in the San Francisco/Bay Area. JNX has also performed in the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA, and the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, CA. JNX has gone on tour out of state, playing in Las Vegas, NV and up through Arizona.

JNX recently released their brand new single “My Name is Trouble” and plans to tour and release their sophomore album in late 2026
