About Us

Crushing… Agressive… Raw… Those are only a few words to describe the sound of the young, Californian metal trio, JNX. Influenced by the greats such as Van Halen, Metallica, and Pantera, brothers Jonah and Xavier Dacanay formed the band with the goal of keeping heavy music fresh and alive. With their high energy riffs, shredding guitar solos, and in-your-face rhythms, JNX strives to inspire a new generation of rock fans! 

Over the years JNX has performed in numerous community events, festivals, fundraisers, benefit concerts, and fairs in the mountain community surrounding Yosemite and Central California. 

JNX placed in the top 10 (out of over 100 bands) with the band's original song  "Red Parade" in a songwriting contest sponsored by Dirtbag Clothing.  

JNX's first full length album "Love, Hate, Apocalypse" drops on September 20th on all streaming Platforms!
